Sluggers earned their third ice cream party this
season, and worked hard to get it. At Friday’s practice, it was hot, memorial day weekend, first day of summer break, and yet the girls showed up. Why? I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!
It’s the ice cream that keeps the Sluggers motivated towards the end of the season. We have three games left, and will work hard to the very end.
How bad do the Sluggers want first place? How many licks does it take to get to the center of the tootsie roll of a tootsie roll pop? The world may never know. What we do know is that we need to put our rally hats on, and all wear our Slugger green for Tuesday’s double header games. GOOO SLUGGERS!
As a minor side-note. One of the photos we have of our ice cream practice captured a rare event. If you look closely to this photo of Jordy you will see the strange and mysterious “pit ice cream”.
How does a Slugger eat an ice cream bar and manage to get some on her armpit? That’s one more of the universe’s mysteries we will never know the answer to.
