The Roswell Girls Softball Association is now taking registration for fall ball season.  If you have been keeping up with the RGSA then you know that our fall season is designed to be “lighter”, to keep our players active and to give girls from other sports an opportunity to play softball.  With our fall ball season intended to be more instructional than our spring we have decided to setup a few clinics.

Our first clinic isn’t actually for our players.  We have  coordinated a one-day umpire training clinic with USSSA to not only re-certify the umpires we have but to also open the door for anyone who may be interested in becoming an umpire or learn more about the rules of softball.  This is open for anyone who may want to attend and we wouldlike to invite as many softball coaches and parents as we can.  Even though there is usually a charge for this clinic the RGSA will be paying for everything.  So, your welcome.

Our next clinic is for our pitchers.  With help from Lionel Franco we will be bringing in, world renowned pitching coach, Bill Hillhouse.  Mr. Hillhouse has been all over the world playing fastpitch softball and coaching pitchers.  He will be here Aug. 15th, 16th, and 17th and will be running his clinic at the Boys & Girls Club.
