Attention Slugger fans!  As I’m sure you are well aware of, the Roswell Wool Bowl Softball Complex is in no condition for games.  The weather outside may only be in the 30s but that is not the issue.  A major renovation has been in progress at the softball fields over the last few months and with the spring season creeping up on us the big question is, “Will they be done in time?”  I looks as though the fields and fencing could be complete by the beginning of the season but it may take a bit longer to complete the new concession stand and restrooms.  As of right now we don’t have a completion date for the construction on the softball fields but as we get more information we will keep up you up-to-date.

For now, we do have some useful information for you.
Here are tentative player registration dates for the 2013 softball season.  You can register your girl at the Yucca Recreation Center on the following dates:

Tuesday,   February – 5th  6:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday, February – 7th  6:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday,  February – 9th  9:00am – 2:00pm

Tuesday,   February – 12th  6:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday, February – 14th  6:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday,  February – 16th  9:00am – 2:00pm

Tuesday,   February – 19th  6:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday, February – 21st  6:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday,  February – 23rd  9:00am – 2:00pm

These “tentative” dates are for the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U age groups.

Don’t forget, you’ll need your girls’ birth certificate and the $45.00 registration fee.
